So.... Heath Ledger.

I had the unfortunate job of informing two of my friends about the news today. What can I say? I am a web junkie and heard the reports right away.

They were understandably shocked. First, not a great thing to hear and also because of the effect of the movie "Brokeback Mountain". I actually haven't seen the film yet, though I own it due to my Angel Susiederk. Frankly I was concerned about it seeming too depressing. Good luck with that now.

The oddest part to me is "the role of the dice". Ledger was only 28 and a talented actor. I'm 46 and have lived with a debilitating disease for 26 years. Hmmm... God had a wicked sense of humor.

My iBook, which had had a problem before, has suddenly been trouble-free the last week. Weee. A miracle, Thanks for your prayers.

WELLNESS

For those of you who care, I'm feeling much better which in my case means I have an appetite again.

When you have a lifelong illness, any abbereration in your well being is easily affixed to your condition. Diarrhea, constipation. weight loss, weight gain - all due to a side effect. Sometimes, however, it's just part of being mortal which is easy to overlook. I may have just had food poisoning. At any rate, I'm hungry again. Yay!!

Thanks for the emails of concern. Your thoughts are well received and I appreciate them.
