As much as I dread doing this (and I seriously avoid it) I am now going to make a pitch for donations to me and Polly.
I only do this because I have little recourse. I have no money and am having a hard time getting money to eat. I live on Social Security Disability and no longer have a car here in LA. It broke and I couldn't afford to pay the insurance.
Yeah, I know my posting here has been lame and I've seemed to abandon the Bible Thing which had many of you come here. Sorry. I had My Life to deal with. Jesus, I'm hoping, could wait.

Don't feel bad, Hugh...humility is the height of disorder, you can only fall up. I hope you'll understand, I could only donate 10% of my net worth, which unfortunately for America's future and all of Africa's children, ain't much.
If it means anything, though I spent only a dollar, I'll still have "plenty of 'splainin' to do" once my husband gets the bill. Um, why are you donating money to someone you've never met?

I for one need the reminder because I can get so caught up in my own drama. Yeah, I'm getting divorced and my kid's in custody. Yeah, I'm sad about all that. But I have food. And my sweet dog companion. So, I'll send a few bucks your way out of gratitude, not pity. You make my life brighter in so many ways.
